Julen är slut. Nyår är förbi. Sjuka har vi varit. Vardagen har börjat. Det är lååååångt kvar till våren. Nu gäller det att hitta nya glädjeämnen och inte låta sig missmodas!
Att på januarirean köpa så här många skor för lite drygt trehundra kronor (och Gore-tex och Kavat till på köpet), det är LYCKA det. Mamman har alltid varit en rearäv som kan sin konst att fynda. Egentligen ska man just nu bida sin tid ett par veckor till - runt 22 januari börjar den rea som är värd namnet, när man fyndar på halva reapriset alltså, men Wedins skor hade galen utförsäljning och mamman råkade gå förbi. Glad som en speleman gick hon därifrån, väl medveten om sin matematik: Hon hade bara betalat 25% av ursprungspriset. Det är riktigt bra. Hurra!!
Så till alla januarimissmodiga vill mamman nu säga: Det finns roliga saker att se fram emot de närmaste månaderna. Kanske kommer mamman göra det till ett stående inslag att ha lite oxvecks-glädjeämnen här på bloggen. Håll utkik!

Christmas is over. New Year's celebrations are over. Time to start working again. Spring is faaaaaar away. But let's not give in to despondency - there are still joys in life. Bargain-hunting on the January sales is definately one of the true joys in life. The mommy only paid 25% of the original price on these shoes, dear friends. That's good. Really good. Heheheheheeeeeee.

THAT is an excellent deal!!! Good job! Now that Christmas and New Years are over I'm itching to plant a garden. The only problem is that we have about a foot and a half of snow outside. Grammy probably has at least double that, though. So when does it start to thaw out around there in Sweden?

Haha, that is an intriguing question, Jessica! That answer will vary a lot dependig upon where in this country you live. Here in Gothenburg we had the the FIRST snow for the season TODAY, about 2". The kids were beside themselves with joy and we went out to play untill they were all wet. An hour after we got inside, all the snow had thawed.
Gothenburg is NOT a good place for snow, we are too close to the sea. Hopefully we will get some more good snow that will stay for a couple of days in February or so. Last year we got the first and about only snow that season on Easter and to everybody's aggravation (i.e. the adults) it STAYED for 1-2 weeks on top of all our daffodils. That is Gothenburg winter in a nutshell...
It sounds lovely to plant a garden...
